I just wanted to say how grateful I am that John Fogerty ran into Doug Clifford in high school because they both liked the blues and that Doug became friends with Stu Cook because they sat in homeroom together and that Tom Fogerty decided to help his little brother's band out after his own failed. Like, thank God. I don't care if things ended badly. Those four made music unlike anything else when, for a brief moment in time, the stars aligned and they thrived together. Just seriously, thank God for that.

I'm so bored of people bringing up Heath Ledger when a horrible casting choice is announced. That one time doesn't give directors immunity with the bullshit. Plus are we going to ignore how Heath was already in an Oscar nominatec movie before he was cast and most of the disbelief for the Joker role had some root in homophobia because of Brokeback Mountain?
