one reason i enjoy hcing essek as short (read: somewhere around the height of yussa or astrid or jester) is that i like it when powerful and/or respectable characters who reasonably could be the same average height of their peers are instead shorter and are not belittled for it

that said, gillian anderson as dana scully is doing excellent things for me on that front so far

Oh hello!!! My beloved little guy!!

Linnet does know his alignment! It's a secret from everyone else for completely healthy and well adjusted reasons lmao

His gloves definitely get some raised eyebrows here and there, it's very gauche to touch people you don't know well/in public with bare hands! But Linnet is a genius, and everyone knows geniuses are eccentric. However, he's always very careful and doesn't reach out to others much, or let other people touch him

The relationship between the three of them is still very much in development. At the beginning Linnet is, one might say, one stressor away from losing his whole house of cards. His emotional. Whatever. Is very difficult for Bellamy to passively deal with.

Bellamy, as a REAL ice magician, may be required to help Linnet sort out his shit so he doesn't get them killed. But I do think that in untangling that, he'll get a much better understanding of what his abilities actually are, and feel more secure that he's not manipulating others.

I will just need to see how things develop!

Lian <3 I know that I said Mia & Ollie were the father-daughter pair of all time but actually Roy & Lian are the father-daughter pair of all time. I love any scene that has the two of them interacting, he's genuinely such a good father to her, and she's absolutely adorable <3 I also really like his friendship with Dick, though I've admittedly read less of that than I want to

My unpopular opinion about this character

The most datable man in DC. "Nightwing this" "Nightwing that" have you SEEN Roy Harper?? Who in their right mind is choosing Dick "my life is on fire at all times & it'll probably fix itself if I ignore it hard enough" Grayson when this man is RIGHT THERE. He is a devoted father with a functional (ish) working relationship with his kid's mom, he has a deeply impressive strength of will & a dedication to bettering himself, he owns up to his mistakes when he makes them, he's had some truly fascinating character arcs over the years, he has really fun dynamics with the other Titans, and oh yeah, he's an archer. I might have a problem. But yeah, as with most things, Arrows > Bats

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon

Most of the things I'm thinking of have probably already happened, but I want a team-up with him, Dinah, Helena, and Dick. I just think that would be painfully awkward for everyone involved & I live for interpersonal drama :)
