I read a post about how marvel killed Loki in infinity war because they didn’t want to sacrifice the plot and other characters to focus on his growth and ??? that seems perfectly reasonable. Don’t call them cowards for making a comic book movie. If you think you were signing up for anything else than a simple action story you’re in way too deep.

I got no problem with exploring a particular character’s trauma and growth in detail. God knows I’ve spent hours upon hours of my life reading fics of just that. But I think blaming the Russos or Marvel or whoever for not creating a complex narrative about your fave’s personal journey is kind of delusional?

I’m not saying IW and EG did nothing wrong. I have plenty of gripes about the movies, but expecting that kind of emotional depth from superhero movies/comics/tv shows is a lost cause.

And ensemble movies do not need to be focused on your fave.

I keep making little mistakes during work and I keep beating myself up about it but then I remember...

I was supposed to take a week and a half long trip through the Carolina’s in April.

I was supposed to have a full week and a half away from work and instead it turned into 3 weeks of going in on random ass days/doing other peoples work and then the last 2 weeks of taking work home and playing catch up for my job duties while still doing other peoples work. Which means I haven’t had more than a weekend off since I got married in October.

I’m allowed to make mistakes/have burnout because my home has been turned into my temporary workspace on the days I don’t physically go in and my mind wont shut off since it can’t seem to differentiate between work hours at home and home hours at home..

That was actual serious concern. It just seems like it would be hard to catch them or yourself like that...

I appreciate the concern, but by that logic I shouldn't carry them in any fashion at all, ever. It's not like I'm going on a hike up a mountain side. That particular trail is essentially like walking on a dirt road. If I had been carrying my toddler piggyback with my arms, would you have even blinked? I doubt it. Or carrying the baby with my arms? I doubt it even more. But what if I had fallen in either of those cases? Actually, both them and me would probably be more injured since my arms and hands would be filled with child and unable to be used to catch myself without completely dropping them. So either I'd have to drop them to catch myself, or hold onto them and faceplant and hope I don't land on them. However should I trip and fall with either or both of them in a carrier, I have both hands to throw out and break said fall without having to worry about them going flying in the process.

And no, I wouldn't recommend someone who isn't used to carrying 40+ lbs on their person to just jump into tandem carrying, but it is not unsafe. And like I said, I'm sure as hell not going to limit our outdoor experiences to double-stroller accessible places only.
