So, Iron Lung, amiright??

For a debut film, what a goddamn knock-out performance from the entire cast and crew involved in working on this BEAST of a film!!

This is definitely the most time I've spend creating an art piece, but this movie warranted and even encouraged me to slow down and pour out my heart into this! And just like the movie, this was a collaborative effort, with the final rendering being done by my absolutely astounding wife @taigafore!!

There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said, but I will say this; thank you to every single person, from the actors to the caters, for bringing this movie to life, it was a joy to watch and dissect, and I cannot wait to see what comes next!!

Friendly reminder to all of you out there - while it's okay to dislike a suitor, it's never okay to post hate about a suitor IN HIS TAGS. I know not every suitor is for everyone, but your ick is someone's love. And no one wants to scroll through Tumblr and find hate spewed in his tags.

Here's an idea - the next time you read a route or an event, and a suitor does something that turns your stomach, keep the hateful thoughts to yourself.

Oh...and if your screenshot portions of someone's translations, even if you're doing so with good intentions, please please please credit the translators. Their hard work should not be stolen like that.

first her hairstyle is called locs.

second, i thought we established that we don’t compare people’s skin tones to food? also, if she’s just mentioned in passing why need to mention her race at all? we all know parker is black you don’t need to write ‘and this strong BLACK doctor came to help me’ (yes, this is something i’ve read). there are so many other ways to describe her (hair, tattoos, personality, SKIN TONE, etc.) it’s ONLY with her, none of the other doctors (poc or not) are described like that.

lastly, i’m convinced none of them know how black people talk. why is this DOCTOR calling patients she just met ‘ma’ or ‘mamas’… just because you have a one track mind on how you think black people talk, doesn’t mean it has to show up in your fanfics.

I went to that movie so tired and late at night and I was still AWAKE and SO INVESTED

You have never watched a studio ghibli film and it shows

You have never had a meaningful conversation and it shows

Iron Lung was art, well loved art

It wasn’t even that hard to comprehend

You didn’t even have to know the game beforehand either

Just patience, full attention and a love for the eldrich horror

10/10 would watch a million times
