age of ten

ten...hmmmm..... probably martial arts stuff. I started learning it myself when I was eight (only stopped regularly practicing and training five years ago), and at ten I loved all those terrible quality Jean Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan, and co movies :P

Emmett crept up the stairs slowly and made his way down the hall to his bedroom. He saw a sliver of light dripping through the space beneath the door. The door creaked as he slowly entered the room. Hannah flinched and spun round in her seat in front of the vanity. “Jesus, Emmett,” she huffed. “Scared the life out of me.”

that was not okay nothing is okay and I am super pissed that the scene was at the very end of the episode why would you ever do that and did you see the sad pinwheels and also that dream was terrible and I need to hug him okay I'm going to go cry a bit over my residual Alec feels

That was a terrible place to end the episode. They should have drawn out the dying angst longer, shown him go completely unconscious and stop breathing. And then end the ep. But I'm a turrrible person.

WE ARE NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT THAT DREAM AND HIS FACE AS HE RAN TOWARD THEM. JUST. NO. *hugs him tight and doesn't let go*

Top 5 characters you didn't like initially, but do now?

Oh boy, ummmm... not sure I can come up with five of them since it would take significant and masterful character development for me to view a character differently than at first, but I'll give it go.

1 - Narvin (from Big Finish's Gallifrey series. Seriously, I've never had such a turn around in my attitude towards a character than Narvin, who went from being a weasely toad to someone I wanted to wrap in a warm blanket and whisk away)

2 - Carl (from TWD)

3 - Marilla Cuthbert (from Anne of Gables. Mostly because I can now appreciate her position and understand her character way better than when I was seven, eight, and nine years old)

Sorry, anon, that's all I can come up with :/ There just aren't that many stories where my initial feelings and opinion on a character have changed, either in retrospect or because of how they were developed by the story.
