Some of my important headcanons:

If Aventurine has the three black cat cakes and he starts having a nightmare or an emotional breakdown at home, those kitties will absolutely be able to tell and come rushing up to snuggle him immediately.

If he's locked himself in his bedroom/bathroom, they'll be thumping and yowling desperately at the door.

They will surround him and sit on him and nuzzle him until he calms down, no matter what.

Ratio gave them to him post-Nihility because he knew that would happen. He knew that when he couldn't be there to help, these snacks would always be there.

Sometimes, I remember when Aventurine says that other than his good fortune, he has nothing--no family, no meaningful relationships--and Ratio's note proves to him that he *does* in fact have one meaningful relationship.

But also, I like to imagine that he gives him the cat cakes, as if saying "here, now you have something". And even if Aventurine is skeptical at first, the cakes worm their way into his heart, and they become...another reason for him to live.

The familial love between him and his cakes is so important to me.

Okay, but you know that thing where your pet can tell if someone is a good person or not? Like "if my dog likes him, he's the one"?

Aventurine's cat cakes loving Ratio and wanting to be near him despite his general indifference towards them. Sitting on him and purring even when he keeps trying to move them away. It's like they are magnetically attracted to him.

The kitties can tell. The kitties are playing matchmaker.

Look at this lineup of beautiful boys. And they're all very important characters with good writing and lore relevance. This is why HSR is the best gacha.

More Firefly stuff is cool and all, but all I really want is to see how Aventurine escaped the void. How the hell did Argenti get in there. How did both of them get *out*. Please.
