There's this department store that sells a lot of stuff with designs that come from a picture book series for kids. The books may be for kids, but they make stuff for adults as well, because it was basically as popular in the 50s as it was now, so it's nostalgia for many generations.

Anyway, they had this sweater with a fun print for a national holiday that I really like - both the sweater and the holiday - but for some reason they only made it in kids' sizes >:( So I'm screen printing one for myself >:)

#if you're curious: the series is called Jip en Janneke #I technically knew that it went way back but I guess it didn't dawn on me what that meant #until my 67 yo colleague told me she grew up with those books the same way I had #that was kind of a mind blowing realisation lmao #it's timeless #ikke
