Yooooooooo Where the hell has Thailand been hiding BL titles like Manner of Death? I’m three episodes in, nothing has made me angry, it’s not set in a college, there doesn’t appear to be a heteronormative binary, and the women are allowed to do something besides come between a relationship. If this show has lesbians, it’s living rent free in my head until the end of time.

I know that you’re American, so I just wanted to tip my hat to you for the Britishness of the prawn cocktail scene (and TLE in general). The 1970s was the height of prawn cocktail elegance in England, so SB casually eating one while he bonds with Lily was *chef’s kiss*. I also love prawns, so thank you for having Lily love prawns when you yourself (and James) do not.

Oh yes, I’ve done my research. I know all about the 1970s British prawn cocktail phenomenon 🤣🤣🤣

Lily liking prawns was my penitence for being a prawn-hater myself. (I also had a good laugh about making James hate prawns, because he’s so damn upbeat and optimistic about everything else, I was like “what is the most ridiculous thing I can make him adamantly negative about. Oh yes. Prawns.”)
