I'm doing a quick speedrun of book 1 because there's a line from M that I need to quote in an ask I'm answering (I said I'd paraphrase but I am pedantic), and came across this scene again:
I forgot how much of an OOF this is. Nate was trying to appeal to Zuri on Rebecca’s behalf and she did not appreciate it at all. And honestly, she would've walked off mid-apology💀
