Rain | he/him/it/its transgayboy in my late 20s | this is where I post most stuff. sometimes running on queue for now. My art reblog blog is my main: @strangegreen. I got sides for days
My main is @strangegreen if you wanna see mostly nature related artwork and photo reblogs.
This is my main side, I post to it for most things and I'm most active here. It's for my regular, daily tumblr stuff. There will be images, videos, memes, longer text posts and such on here. If I'm posting about a specific media interest a lot, then I tend to make a side so I can ramble about it and post lots comfortably. Sides below readmore
My other sides: Almost all are on queue rn! They are on the backburner.
Horror related side (mostly movies. I post my thoughts there sometimes): @varyinghorror (not so active rn. Taking a small break from watching horror stuff other than Ravenous 1999)
Disco Elysium: @disco-thoughts (on long queue & regularly add to. Idk y won't let me link it?)
Fallout New Vegas: @yucca-moth (queue has finally run out! I will return to this blog when hyperfixation returns as usual)
Pathologic classic and 2: @pathologic-thoughts (on queue)
Saw franchise: @filthybathroom (inactive)
Star trek franchise: @startrekspace (mostly inactive. Mix of Ds9 and TNG)
A few other ones I don't have the energy to write out.
(Usually I make a side if I hyperfixate for longer than a few months. Some I'm not regularly posting in right now but will maybe go back to. I use these mostly for rbing fanart and sometimes gifs, video edits, or funny text posts. Feel free to go like or reblog 50 things at once on these, doesn't bother me)
Btw I usually set side queues to 1 or 2 posts a day unless I specify otherwise. For me, on those blogs queueing is preferable to my alternative of posting all at once, then going radio silent. No judgement if that's how you roll though!
Also - you may notice I'm overzealous with tagging #unreality. I'm simply doing this for myself, so my usage is down to personal preference.
I like the nodding emoji 🙂↕️ for how at peace it is. when I use it I feel like a wise sage who has reached an enlightened truth of the universe. mmmm 🙂↕️ monkey
When I was growing up there was a brick in a housing estate that said 'what is a frigbob?'. I'm just like huh idk:) until it haunts me enough to find out. This is in the days before Google had everything (and then nothing) so I kid you not I couldn't find ANYTHING, nothing relevant came up. So haunts me a bit more. Then I'm like I know I'll email the guy who runs the local newsletter. And he's like what the hell that's weird, no one had contacted him about this exciting brick before! What an excellent spot! Send him a picture! And he tells me a frigbob is a type of saw used in limestone mining which was A Whole Thing in the past. He says I can see one at local museum (open once every third Tuesday kinda museum, which has since closed down, but don't worry my mum befriended the guy who got the saw). But no further information on this one engraved brick hinting at the town's history, like why one, why this spot in the whole estate, why a question specifically about a saw and not like 'I ❤ limestone mining' or an information board or something useful instead of thing noticeable only by strange children
It's always "stop harming yourself or we'll have to lock you up!!!" and never "what do you need to change to want to harm yourself less and how can we help you make some of these changes?" and that's why we're not getting anywhere
