As mentioned in that post, the visual novel about Annie revealed that Ruth Klein is the name of the dead body Annie was apologizing to in the manga and anime (the popular theory is that it belongs to Mina). Ruth was apparently a classmate of Annie.
The translations of the Annie visual novel by plain-dude also supported this information (link here).
