The Sin of Love Chapter Six
You had cried all night after Lucifer left you to cool down after you had screamed at and hit him. You were sure that your face must’ve shown it, but that was the least of your concerns after the door opened and Lucifer walked back in.
You scrambled back on the bed you had been dropped on the night before, though honestly, you had no idea how long you had been unconscious.
"Hello again, Stardust," He started, sighing at your obvious fear, "You need anything?"
"Yeah, to go home." You said, keeping your eyes on the fallen archangel as he walked closer to you.
As one could expect, you didn't trust him. Maybe you didn't have to be afraid as he hadn't hurt you yet, but your faith was keeping you from seeing anything but danger when it came to him.
"You know that won't happen."
Lucifer knew that you were afraid of him, and it frustrated him to no end. He could feel the connection between the two of you, he tried to keep in his mind that he could feel the bind more intensely than you thanks to his powers, but something kept screaming at him that he needed to be closer, to comfort you and make your fear go away.
He hated seeing you try to hide away from him, and it was painful to his heart to see that you were sad. This whole situation was already out of control and it had only been about two days.
For so long, even before he fell, before he could have imagined that anyone would fear him, he had wanted this. He had wanted to meet the one he was destined to be with. Before he fell, he thought it would be an angel, afterwards, he figured that if he still had one, it would be a demon or maybe a witch. He never thought, however, that Dad would persist in trying to get him to change his views of humanity.
"Please just tell me your name." Lucifer said.
"Y/N." You finally conceded.
"Y/N, okay," Lucifer was still working out how to talk to you, his mind was yelling at him that he shouldn't have kidnapped you if he wanted to chat.
You, on the other hand, knew exactly what you wanted to say and do, but you also knew better than to have a loud mouth and let instinct take over when dealing with Satan.
Realizing that you weren't going to keep the conversation going, Lucifer figured that it was up to him. He had never been the type to be stumbling while looking for the right words before, after all, you don't easily turn a third of the heavenly host against God, but there was apparently a difference when it came to conversing with your soulmate whom you kidnapped.
"Listen, I know you have some preconceived thoughts about me, but I'm asking you to look a bit further here. After all, I'm doing that for you." He said, almost cringing at his own tone. If he wanted you to accept him, he was going to have to learn to be a bit less harsh.
"You want me to look past the fact that you rebelled against God and created demons? And what's more, I'm supposed to ignore that you brought me here against my will, and I don't even know where here is?" You whispered, finally mustering your courage and looking at him again.
"I never meant to hurt anyone." Lucifer ground out through his teeth.
"You want me to believe that? You didn't seem to remember your peaceful intentions when you threw Dean into a tree." You spat back.
Lucifer looked at you angrily, and you recoiled once again. Your emotions had gotten the better of you once more. Sometimes you wondered why you had to be so sensitive, why your heart always ached so often for people you didn't know. It's how you've always been. You're the soft-hearted girl that can't keep her stupid emotions in and you hated yourself for it. The loathing of your own feeling had been a problem ever since you were a child.
Lucifer could sense the hate coming from you, as well as the fear, but as he reached further, he was surprised to realize the hate wasn't for him.
The instinct to hold you pushed itself to the front of his head as you started to cry again, and feeling something that had been foreign for so long, he sat down next to you on the bed and pulled your head into his chest.
You shocked yourself when you didn't resist Lucifer's hold, and instead felt your body rest its weight on him.
What was happening to you?
