Animal attacks || Silas and Alaric
Well, this sort of sucked.
Alaric was on the verge of deciding he’d just go home. He’d seen quite enough of happy couples making out in corners. The highlight of the entire night was watching a groupf of giggling seniors relocating the principal Giles’ office into the bathroom. Asshole had that coming. But he was done with it, and wanted to leave.
Ugh. The whole ‘single and happy with it’ thing was getting real old, real quick.
But he’d promised Nik he’d come, so he figured he really couldn’t leave until he’d seen him. He looked around the room – no sign of him, or Si. He asked a junior whose name he couldn’t recollect if she’d seen either of them.
“No,” she said. “But someone saw them heading for the science rooms. Weird place to make out, you ask me,” she said, and went back to talking to her friend.
Alaric shrugged, and headed out, towards the science block. He really wasn’t keen on walking in on anything, but he figured that if he was loud enough, they’d stop in time. “Nik?” he called. “Si? Where are you guys? Seriously, there are mats in the gym. Not exactly romantic, but it’s better than…”
The door to one of the labs flew open, and a moment later, Alaric has looking at the biggest wolf he’d ever seen. Fuck. Fuck. Had it hurt them? Oh, god, animal attacks in Mystic Falls… was it wolves? Fuck. The wolf growled, and Alaric took an involuntary step back.
