@ladysunami please know that I see you and I appreciate you and I want to respond to you but my brain is doing Things right now so I can’t form coherent responses that aren’t, like, page long essays. I also apologize for this being a public post instead of just responding to you in the messenger system. If I knew why my brain made me do shit like this, I could probably do things the right way, yet here we are.

I hate the way that Tumblr just won’t let me respond to replies anymore so here’s a general appreciation post for @topaxi because they’re great and my pets love the love.

How are the buns doing?
They're doing well. I had to switch their hay because Barkley's allergic to the normal stuff so they're mad at me, but they'll get over it in probably a week or two.
@likewise-r Thank you for your reply, even though Tumblr won’t let me respond to it for some reason. And yeah, you are absolutely right that I don’t need permission for stuff like that. But also, it kinda feels nice to get it? I don’t know, I’m a super insecure person and I have been struggling SO MUCH with the concept of my gender for a while now but that’s also mostly because I don’t know anything about how gender works or what my feelings about it mean. So it’s nice to know that deciding, even if it’s just for now, that I’m just not gonna have one for a bit is something that can be accepted and not viewed as lazy just makes me so much more comfortable with the idea. I’m also fairly confident that this will be a temporary thing as I try to figure stuff out a bit more, but I want to take a break from that because literally all that I KNOW right now is that female doesn’t feel quite right anymore but not to the point that I am opposed to she/her pronouns.
Also, sorry for how long and rambly this is. I’m just trying to make sense of things and sometimes just rambling on the internet helps with that process.
