If Patton and Logan do get married in Is There Anything Left of Patton they'll have to cut out the "til death do us part" bit of the vows

I was going for humour but actually that's just tragic

I mean... by that time Patton's fully back in working order so... I'm sure that Patton does his best to meme on it so hard that Logan can not be sad because he's too busy being annoyed.

hi okay so i was reading through your masterlist and have recently read "is there anything left of patton" very good very quality love what you have and i was thinking about the ring and how zombie pat might propose and thought of a cute line. patton knelt in front of logan with the ring maybe in the living room with virgil, remy, and roman and he says "we may never be married in the traditional sense but i was hoping we could get as close as possible, will you be my fiance?" or smth like that

I have actually thought about how the proposal will go! I have not 100% pinned it down yet though.

You can! I’d love a link to it if you end up doing it! I’ve always thought that series would make a great podfic. My only condition is you read every single ‘plant’ in the 8th part. (I’m kidding. Pls don’t.)

So, eventually once Patton’s brain starts working faster more consistently he begins to make puns. Puns about the fact that he’s a zombie. So many puns. Logan is conflicted because he’s back to saying jokes, but also they’re relentless. Virgil often say “Just eat me already. Please, god, just eat me,” in reaction.

I just warmed up leftover mac'n'cheese and had time to think "ugh the texture of leftover mac'n'cheese is so weird" before I was absolutely slapped upside the head with flashbacks to italop, which I haven't thought about in about two months. You, my dear, have singlehandedly made mac'n'cheese have an instant link to zombie aus in my mind and I applaud you.

This is my legacy, lol.

There was silence. Roman assumed Patton wouldn’t be speaking again, so he just squeezed his hand softly, willing to stand there until Patton could draw himself away from whatever had trapped his thoughts.
