I'm imagining family gatherings and parties at the uchiha house with itatenz and SasuSaku. Pretty hilarious.

Like who would be the favorite? Would Mikoto like Tenz and Fugaku Sakura? For some reason I love the idea of Fugaku liking her. Like Yamato helping in the kitchen would be so cute. And Sakura trying to talk politics or books or something with Fugaku.

But also, like the shared looks between Sakura and Yamato, like "Can you believe they just said that?" Or while Sasuke and Itachi do there little bickering the shared eyerolls? Or them being the ONLY non Uchiha in a room of dozens and sticking together like glue. Giving sly thumbs up and encouragement across a room. Whispering reminders of who is who. Swooping in to save eachother when there's a biased or difficult conversation.

That is an adorable idea, and I love it!

I imagine Fugaku would loath Tenzō because his eldest son [the golden child] should be with a high profile, child bearing woman of the Uchiha clan [Fugaku not knowing Tenzō is trans, might be in for a surprise later]. Tenzō avoids having to talk to Fugaku one on one, he may be a paitent man, but that paitence wears thin very fast with some of the snide remarks I see him making.

Mikoto would adore Tenzō because he takes good care of Itachi, always visiting him on their days off, bringing him lunches, getting him to fall asleep. Not to mention encouraging Itachi to spend more time with Sasuke. They would totally be in the kitchen sharing recipies, swapping stories, and then the baby picture book of doom. Itachi and Sasuke might get a little embarrassed when that book is busted out.

Fugaku would accept Sakura because she's a child bearing woman at least, even if she's not a Uchiha. That acceptance slowly turns into liking her because she's bold enough to talk politics and hold difficult conversations with him. Eventually they get on the topic of books and she asks Tenzō about one they both read, and he reluctantly joins in on their conversation. Which helps foster a general and civil acceptance between Fugaku and Tenzō, they hold some level of respect for each other after that conversation on books.

I can see Mikoto enjoying Sakura too, though, she's the kick in Sasuke's ass that he needs sometimes. Tenzō pulls Sakura into the kitchen once and a while with him and Mikoto because he's tasted her food pills before, and he can't even imagine what her cooking tastes like. They both attempt to teach her how to cook, the kitchen catches fire, her and Tenzō use their water style jutsu to put it out. Fun times. xD

When Itachi and Sasuke start bickering, Sakura and Tenzō both just roll their eyes simultaneously. He cross his arms, she has her hands on her hips tapping her foot. Then they both question eachother, "Why are they even bickering about that?" "Beats me... I think they're both just acting pettish about it though."

Oh gods, the only non Uchiha's present at the Lunar New Years dinner party. Fugaku is just going off on politics and everyone in the clan is paying close attention at the table, then he starts talking about other random things that Sakura and Tenzō have no clue about. So they just shrug at each other and pass a piece of paper back and forth with random doodles of Uchiha's with their names on it to help them remember who they are, and if they're of direct blood relation to Itachi and Sasuke.

Eventually they all walk outside to gaze up at the moon and join in the festivities, and they randomly get cornered at by Itachi and Sasuke's relatives. They start putting them on the spot and one of them notices the other is feeling trapped and uncomfortable, they take turns interrupting the conversation with very important news and pull the other away.

All in all, a perfectly hilarious and fun bonding experience for everyone involved! 🤣

Ficlet prompt for ItaTenz/ItaYama or platonic. - "Don’t you understand? I love you, and nothing you’ve done, no matter how much of a monster you think you are, is gonna change that." Or "I won’t hate you. I know you think that’s what you deserve, but it’s not."

"Don’t you understand? I love you, and nothing you’ve done, no matter how much of a monster you think you are, is gonna change that."

The words are a knife through Itachi’s heart. It was something he had always wanted so desperately to hear, but now, standing across from Tenzo, his Tanto poised and at the ready to fight his former teammate, it felt like just a cruel twist of fate. 

“Don’t say that.” Itachi forces his voice to harden, trying to hide the fact that there is a lump in his throat and his hands were shaking, “You don’t know what you’re talking about, Tenzo.” 

Tenzo took a step forward and Itachi took a step back. The tip of the tanto fell slightly. 

“I don’t believe you did what you did without reason, Itachi. I can’t...I won’t believe it. I know you better than that.”

Itachi cringes away from the words. Why should it matter that he had reasons. The blood is still on his hands. If he had been smarter, if he had been stronger, he would have found a better way. He was worse than a traitor. He was a failure. 

“You’re wrong,” he snaps, hating how easily the venom slides into his words, “You’re even more pathetic than Hatake. At least he can accept that his only use stems from the power he stole from my clan. He knows well enough to slink away into the darkness, into the disgrace of another failure as a shinobi.” 

Itachi clenches his teeth, forcing himself to meet Tenzo’s eyes, “But you. You fell so easily. Anyone could see that your desperate for anyone to give a fuck about you. It’s a disgrace. You made it so easy, Tenzo. You love me? No, you love a lie. A lie that anyone with half a mind could have seen through.” 

Silence settles heavily between them. Itachi watches as his words chip away at Tenzo. The worst part is the fact that Itachi knows exactly which words to use. It’s better this way, He lies to himself. Better to hurt Tenzo, to break him like this than to have to cross blades. 

If it comes to a fight, Itachi knows he won’t lose. Not so long as he has something left behind to protect. 

Tenzo surprises him. There is a flush to his face. Anger? Shame? or something else? Itachi isn’t sure. But rather than shrink away, Tenzo takes another steady step forward. Itachi takes another step back. 

The tip of the tanto falls a bit more. 

“I don’t believe you.” The words fall from Tenzo’s lips like lead, “The lie isn’t our bond, Itachi. The lie is what you’re doing now, trying to run away so that you don’t have to hurt me. If you were the monster you claimed to be, the monster the village wants to see, then I’d be dead already.” 

He wasn’t wrong. Another Step forward. Another step back. The tip of Itachi’s Tanto hit the dirt. 

"I won’t hate you,” Tenzo’s voice is gentle, like hes trying to coax a wounded animal to stay still so he can help it. And really, that wasn’t so far off from the way Itachi looked. Pain so evident on his face, his eyes darting around looking for an escape.

“I know you think that’s what you deserve, but it’s not."

Calloused hands carefully grasped Itachi’s hand, easing the weapon that had spilled so much blood from Itachi’s fingers. Tenzo’s fingers replaced the blade in Itachi’s grip and Tenzo could feel the tremors that were running through Itachi’s body. 

“I don’t want to hurt you, Cat.” The tears are finally flowing freely, and Itachi just lets them fall. Tenzo reaches up with his other hand to caress the younger man’s cheek. 

“You won’t.”

Tenzo ask’s Itachi out during his 7th year (Itachi’s 5th year) because there’s a dance happening and Tenzo really wants Itachi to go with him

which ends up maybe being a bit of a mistake when Itachi tells Shisui excitedly that he’s going to the dance with Tenzo, and Shisui decides it’s time to give Tenzo ‘the talk’

🥰 Who says I love you more? Probably Tenzō. Once he feels comfortable saying it, he won't ever stop. He'll just start to say it randomly, even when Itachi can't hear him, and he never expects Itachi to always say it back. His actions speak louder than words so Tenzō's secure in that respect. For ItaShiTenz, I think Tenzō and Shisui probably make it a lover's competition on who can say it more. xD

🤨 Who gets jealous more often? Hard to say, Tenzō isn't prone to jealousy, and if he does get jealous, he doesn't vocalize it because he doesn't know how to [Thank Danzo and Root for that 🙄]. So I'd probably say Itachi? [You might know better than I] For ItaShiTenz, still hard to say.

😉 Who gets hit on more by strangers? Definitely Itachi. That Uchiha air of mysteriousness is just so alluring to everyone. For ItaShiTenz, Shisui is always getting hit on, end of story.

💕 Who's more flirty? Tenzō is, but only with Itachi, and only when he's in a particular mood. Though he isn't very good at it, he still tries. For ItaShiTenz, Shisui flirts with the world, but he saves his very best for the two people he holds dearest.

👊 Who stands up for the other more? They're both pretty equal about it, I think. Tenzō won't hesitate to lay a mother fucker down into their grave for Itachi. As I assume Itachi would probably just Genjutsu the fuck out of whomever is giving Tenzō a hard time. ItaShiTenz, Shisui is a force to be reckoned with if you hurt either of his lovers. Believe it! 🤣

🥂 Who gets drunk faster? Tenzō, one drink and he's grabbing the mic for karaoke... Or whatever he can find to use as a substitute. ItaShiTenz though, it's still the same and Itachi and Shisui are tasked with wrestling Tenzō away from the mic because he's a horrible drunk singer.

🥪 Who makes food more often? Itachi and Tenzō both make food pretty often, but I'd say Tenzō because regardless if he is too tired, he wants to be sure they're both fed and ready for the next day. Same with ItaShiTenz. 😃

If Team Ro was still together when Itachi and Tenzo start having feelings for each other it could get so funny and awkward fast.

Like they’re all training one morning when Itachi manages to pin Tenzo to the ground and they both hear ‘If you’re going to get horny now please take it to a bedroom’ while Kakashi’s chilling in the trees waiting for his turn XD

or during a mission one of them gets injured for the other and Kakashi starts in on a ‘self sacrificing is stupid’ rant only to be glared at by both of them cuz ‘Don’t fucking start you hipocrite’

and Team outtings would quickly stop being just the three of them as Kakashi drags Gai or Shisui along because ‘save me i Can’t be a third wheel to all of this unresolves romantic tension.”

Tenzo and Itachi’s first official date is near he end of Tenzo’s seventh year. Kakashi gives Tenzo two tickets to his game against Gai’s team and tells him to bring a friend.

Tenzo decides on Itachi both because Shisui already bought tickets since it’s Kakashi and Gai’s last time facing each other unless both teams make it into the end of the year tournament, and because there’s a cute girl who loves Gai’s team and really wanted to go.

So they end up with really good seats to this big ass game and Itachi most definitly does not end up cuddling into Tenzo’s side when a bludger goes flying by them.

Tenzo and Itachi teaching at Konoha school of Witchcraft and Wizardry together and visiting each other in their classes.

Tenzo poking fun at Itachi for wanting to teach classes where he doesn’t have to deal with first or second years, and then apologizing the next day because all half of them do is complain about how his class is not defence against the dark arts or charms.

Hanging out in the castle grounds togethers and cuddling up to each other while they make lesson plans or read a nice book.

Absolutly getting teased mercilessly by Kakashi who is fully aware that him and Gai are just as bad and does not care.
