Every four years International Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference is the place to be if you are involved in the planning, design, construction, specification or operation of places of entertainment.
Places for Performance: New Directions will explore the new ways in which performance spaces are developing; learn from the lessons of the previous four years and consider the challenges of the next, particularly in the context of what the creators of performance will require of the spaces in which they work, and to which they invite their audiences. [x]
In a session called ‘Theatre by Candlelight’, the panellists, including actor Hattie Morahan and director Adele Thomas, will debate the traditions theatre can learn from and restore. [x]
The session will take place on Tuesday the 5th June. More information can be found here.
