NO PLANES, TRAINS, SHIPPING SERVICES, OR BUSES). Your instructions are here. Coordinate with other gishers to pick up Bearby and take him at least 5 miles, but no more than 100 miles, from your starting point. On your leg of the journey, post a pic of you, Bearby, and the gisher you’re handing him off to at a diner, rest stop, or point of interest (please geo-tag the location).

Bearby Von Bearamucci has an interview for a position as White House Communications Director on Saturday, August 12th at 8pm ET sharp! He was all set to drive the Gishbus across the country, but its engine wouldn’t start and he has a terrible fear of flying.  203. [VIDEO] One of the great casualties of the pandemic is blowing bubbles, which is hard to do when masked. It’s such a shame, and we won’t stand for this lack of bubbling! Use a tire pump to blow the biggest soap bubble you can.

This was my favorite item I did this hunt.  It was so much fun!  I created the bodice by turning some paper grocery bags into paper mache, which I molded on my dress form.  The skirt was also paper grocery bags, crumpled and flattened to get a nicer "drape."  The skirt was trimmed with junk mail.  My hat was an old soda box that I cut up and reconstructed.  Even the decorations on my vest were bottle caps, and the "rope" I made by twisting strips cut from plastic bags!  I went to a historic trainyard (where you can get on some of the trains) for the photos, and am so happy with how the entire thing came together. -Danalynn
