I could be wrong about this but it seems like Polka Dot's anger towards No Way was rooted in HOW they changed. Both characters have been negatively affected by the game, but not in the same way. While No Way wants to figure out what's going on, Polka Dot wants familiarity. She'd rather ignore how things are now and go back to how they used to be. So when No Way tries getting her involved with the mystery, she isn't just upset because they're neglecting their friends in the process. She also hates that her close friend, one of the last friends she could rely on, has changed in a way that directly opposes what she wants. It's interesting how these characters dealt with their trauma in the exact opposite ways, and that ultimately led to their friendship falling apart.

(also I feel like Polka Dot's amnesia was actually just her...regressing. Like she's acting oblivious and cheerful on purpose to escape from reality, if that makes sense. If true it really shows just how much being on itft affected her.)
