Ithaca Cascazilla and Subrosia Round 2
There is a dusky-reddish hue to Subrosia, which perfectly matches this Red IPA. The Cascazilla is a very rewarding beer. It features Cascade hops, which added immensely to my experience with this pairing. The magic with this beer was the cascade hops, which were distinctly granular. The flavors first start off as a blast of brown sugar then it transforms into a coffee, followed by a rich caramel finish with every sip. I had the as much flavor variation as I did in the game with different kinds of Ore; red, blue, gold, and at one point star-shaped.
This beer, is GORGEOUS! I was absolutely blown away by the flavor and complexity of the Cascade Hops. This is perfect pair with Subroisa consider you can taste the texture of the constantly all the bubbles in the lava lakes.
