I finished In The Heat of the Summer by @skinks​ this week, and I loved the whole story more than I can say. So well done and wonderful. Please go check it out! This drawing is based on Chapter 11! It’s also inspired by the fact that I was listening to Mama Say by Betty Who on repeat yesterday so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just realized I never actually wrote this out as a little story like i intended but...but i’m just so in love with the concept... Remember “In The Heat Of The Summer” by the wonderful @skinks? (i love it so much omfg)

since the lockdown (which has been eased in the meantime) i’ve been doing some home workout via youtube and i can’t stop imagining ithots!Reddie during quarantine. Eddie finally getting around to making a youtube channel, giving tips about making your own face masks (plenty of Richie’s shirt-carcasses lying around) or hygiene. Richie trying to follow Eddie’s home training-routine and failing miserably (“no one’s telling you to match my speed, Rich, you’re not used to working out”). Cue the thirsty dms when those workout-shoulders start showing.. Richie doing some comedy routines via his Instagram account, with Eddie heckling him from the background (when he’s not busy laughing like a hyena, that is). Lots of fretting on Eddie’s side (“did you buy soap, Rich? Don’t forget to order some produce”), lots more of shower sex for Richie, bc hygiene of course). Once, they start doing a cooking vlog, but the videos get so tumultuous with Richie’s chaotic energy that Eddie threatens to ban him from the kitchen. Ah, bliss.
