Enough is enough. You have hijacked Christmas and turned it into a merry making jamboree for people to party and exchange gifts and visit Santa Claus. We think it is amusing and it doesn’t hurt anyone. But Easter too? No way am I going to just watch it being turned into another cute holiday to celebrate. It is the most symbolic holiday for Christians who truly value the precious gift of salvation that was freely received by us but cost Jesus Christ his life. Easter is all about Jesus Christ and the price he paid for a sinful world full of ungrateful people who didn’t even value what He represents. I was once one of those ungrateful people but now I am saved and my eyes have opened to see Jesus, the Saviour of the World. Death could not hold him down. Jesus is not dead. He is alive and he lives in me and in all those who have received Him as their Lord and personal Saviour.
