Itonashi: The Curse of Sadness and Loneliness

• Origin:

Born in the Heian era, it arises from human suffering due to the loss of loved ones, friends and shelter, symbolizing sadness and loneliness that led many to suicide.

• Original appearance:

Gray skin, 7 feet tall, no visible eyes (only glowing pupils), long, flowing hair, permanently sharp fingers and no scars.

• Personality:

Sensitive and self-destructive. When she feels guilty or thinks she has done something wrong, she tears her own flesh with needles in her fingers, healing herself with threads that leave scars. She has no empathy for humans, killing them slowly or brutally according to her emotions.

Interacts uniquely with other curses, such as Kenjaku and Mahito. To humans, she just seems like a deeply sad and tired person.
