If the enemy gets you unsettled in who you are then you won’t be stable enough to carry out God’s assignment for your life. There is no salvation in Baptism but a public profession of your faith is an indication to God of how serious you take your commitment with Him. This isn’t my first rodeo, yes, I’ve been baptized before in my adolescence. And I know I’ve been seen as light to many. But this is honestly the first time I am whole heartedly, all knowingly and willfully committing my life to honor the One who took me serious enough to sacrifice His for mine.
