Commonly known as Tree rats, Corpoarus Moritara are a small, yet fearsome type of rat that is found on almost every planet and ecosystem within the Clover Clouds. They are large in stature, and can weigh anywhere from between 70-150 pounds (68 kilos). Their faces are rather snub-nosed, and their paws are capable of semi-complex muscle movement.
Depending upon the biome with which the tree rat is found in, these animals can range from having bright pink and green fur, to what is described as "galaxy"-like fur. Besides their appearance, these animals are famous for being able to float and communicate through aether waves, upon bending wave particles with an aperture found inside their cranium.
Due to their ability of bending aether waves, humanoids (both capable and incapable of telepathy and aether-particle use themselves) can become to attuned to the tree rat, and can "sense" their feelings, and vice versa.
Because of the ability to "communicate" with this creature, hunting them has become a nigh-impossible feat. If there is what is considered to be a tree rat "infestation", the herd of tree rats can be moved with the communication of one's own feelings to the herd.
While the idea of having these otherwise cute and very intelligent creatures as a pet, their size and need for having multiple members of a herd or "pack" can cause these creatures to rarely bond with a humanoid. Companionship, however, is possible.
Tree rats often find home either underground, in caves or in the bases of large trees. Their common name comes from the most typical type of "tree rat"- those that build their nests in the hollows of trees.

- Hell's Fingertips, also known as brain-dead barnacles, are a parasitic alien creature that is most commonly found attached to the sides of space vessels when either dry-docked for a period of time or found derelict in the vastness of space. This parasite needs no air to breathe, heat, or sunlight, and instead feast upon the metal that is used as the ship's hull. These barnacles were once exclusive to the Lyveran home world, but have since become a known infestation throughout the galaxy. The name is an explanation as much as it as a warning; when ingested by humans, Harpii, Walango or Anderrans, this barnacle then turns and feeds upon the metal found in the blood, bones, and rest of the body. In order to not kill its host, however, this barnacle will keep the body it inhabits alive and in a zombie-like state, never truly alive, but never truly dead.
- Talkarrowak are large, lizard-like beasts that range anywhere from nine to fifteen feet tall (2.7 to 4.5 meters), weighing on average 16,000 pounds (7257 kilograms). Talkarrowak originate from the Walango home world, and are revered as spirit guides by the Walango tribesmen that follow the many herds' year-round and through the seasons. Talkarrowak have an incredibly strong and scaled body, with much of their body covered in spines that come to a large point on the top of the head. These spines then curl out into horns, and are used to pick up large trees or other flora that may be in the herd's way.
- Balceren are the Kal'Morrans less evolved cousins- and twice as deadly. The Balceren are deep underwater sea creatures that thrive in the darkness and intense pressure of the Falkaran Reach, a level in the oceans of the Kal'Morran home world that have not been traversed since the Kal'Morran gained sentience. Balceren are incredibly fierce predators that hunt in packs, with their two fish-like tails acting as a propellor to both confuse and catch the prey. They speak in a chittering sound to one another, though have been apparently known to speak simple Kal'Morran words such as "Go" "Stay" "Die" and "Woman". The reason as to why the phrase "woman" is known to their language has yet to be discovered, though some believe it is because they wish to propagate their species with their closest evolutionary counterparts. They sport the appearance of a bipedal humanoid on the front half of their body, with their bottom being the aforementioned two-tail organs that help them swim through the water.
