The Significance of Horny Scully in Detour and Why It Makes A Lot of Sense 

For @leavingwestcovina and anyone else who could be interested.

Now I don’t know a lot about biology or really how illness properly affect your body. However, during Scully’s cancer and her treatment, her sex drive would have said bye-bye. Now, Detour doesn’t take place too long after her remission which brings me to Horny Scully. I feel like enough time has passed between her remission and Detour for her sex drive to have came back- or at least there enough for her to have one and most likely be hella horny because of it. Also topped with the fact that she’s wrote love diaries to Mulder and has nearly died, girl is done playing and is more like: Mulder I love u also spread legs (I’m sorry) but Mulder is more like: No! Close legs. *Points towards motel door* MOTHMEN! 

And that is why I think Horny Scully in Detour makes a lot of sense :)
