okay hear me out

alec going out to meet kai? valid cause he was lonely as fuck and he reached out to magnus, which is way out of his comfort zone and its scary as fuck for (us) introverts to do that, but he did, and was constantly rejected by magnus. Could he have done it in a different way? probably. also magnus was kinda triggered by the cheating which alec could've recognized, and not pushed it as much.

This is like when we watch a movie and say "they shouldn't have done that" lmao.
