i have to admit smth stupid. I have always been sort of jealous of your ability to write this much and so regularly bcoz . im doing phd so i never have time but u are also working full time so ; ive never been able to do that myself. I can see why so many ppl read your fics i write one fic a year so its difficult to build an audience even tho i have been writing for multiple fandoms for the last decade now. sorry ;(

i do work full time, yes, but i have a lot more control over my schedule than most people do.

finding your audience is not easy. and it sucks that we as authors have to put in so much effort to market/promote our fics in addition to writing them. this is why it is so important for readers to help us - to spread the word about the fics, to comment, to recommend, to repost/share, etc.

i do hope you keep writing and that you find people who appreciate it. but don't fall into the trap of comparing your success to someone else's. there are plenty of people who want to write fics, and never ended up writing it. but you did it. that makes you successful too. so, keep writing, when you can and however much you can. that's the important part.
