my mom accuses me of smoking so much that at this point i might just start
i love tarry so u should post more abt tarry 😁… pls…
I SHOULD SHOULDNT I!!!!!
(i am well on my way to owning this ship i can FEEL it.)
i am so ill about them it's not even funny
some young/hs/pre-dating/crush-stage (whatever the fuck you wanna call it) hcs!!
- their whole "will they won't they" ordeal kinda started when tim was a freshman, so darry woulda been a junior. or just about. at the time darry obviously was trying really hard to disassociate with the greasers/his brother and his friends at school. like, really trying. but dumbass awestruck tim is BEGGING him to hang out, he goes to every single home football game, not really following him like a puppy per say, but pretty damn close. he doesn't really understand it's a crush either, he just thinks darry's super-tuff. (he wants to know why the girls want to kiss him so bad! oh my god tim PLEASE.) even if the guy straight up ignores him in school and stuff
- dally is not stupid and knows it's a crush. (tim doesn't believe him) and also he follows tim around (they're besties of course) and he's really fucking sick of tim trying to get darry involved because he knows 1) the kid thinks he's too cool for them and 2) he just wants his best friend to stop being hung up on some guy from down the street.
- and anytime tim would actually convince him to chill with them at the lot post-practice for a little while on his walk home, he'd be all sweaty and lowkey gross but they'd just....stare at each other....and dally's sitting on the other side of them wishing he was literally anywhere else.
- tim hates paul. which makes sense. but since it's around that time that darry and paul are together, he literally cannot fucking stand that kid and threatens to kill him a few times a little too loudly.
- WHEN PAULS FUCKASS LEAVES (oh i haaaate him! i have such a cruel cruel dynamic for him n darry in my head) darry doesn't like...he doesn't confide in anyone. like no one knew. but for some fucking reason he tells it all to tim one night and he's in tears and tim's not sure if he's supposed to just say "that sucks", "i'll kill him for you" or kiss him. so he kinda just...sits there. and he lets darry cry it out for a few hours. (also when they do end up together later on, darry's whole ignoring-tim thing is something tim NEVER lets him live down. ever. darry never lets him live down how he had to save him once in a fight, tim never lets him live down ignoring him!)
and and and some..mismatched ones!! bonus if u will
tim is a baby abt being sick. he's very much a 'man cold' guy if you know what i mean. he will literally have a cough and lay in bed or the couch or wherever groaning and whining and darry has no choice but to cater to his every need because he feels...kinda bad...
yk that face tv darry makes when he's sick of ponyboy's dumb ass? (god i LOVE boyd) yeah he pulls that face five times an hour with tim cause he loves his man, but he really just goes around saying the most provacative and stupid shit all the time IN FRONT OF PEOPLE TOO and he's just leaning on darry's shoulder like 😁
they get married. i know i said this but i feel the need to say it again. for shits and giggles yeah BUT THEY GET MARRIED
ough i am so not normal about them....i love love love them. this ship has consumed me oh my god. anyways

ugh i dont know, i love to write, i really do, and i want to share my writing but i also feel really weird about posting it. seeing my fics get thousands of likes feels really good. thats never happened to me before, i've never created something that has reached that many people. but i also now feel like everything i put out has to be some groundbreaking earth shattering piece of fiction.
im trying to be nice to myself and just post what i feel like is good whenever i feel like it. like maybe i should just rebrand and be more disorganized and treat this blog as just a writing and fandom dump rather than an organized collection of my work.
perhaps i could use ao3 for long form writing or my better one-shots.
its just a shame because i feel so tied to my ego. i have literally over a hundred drafted fanfics that i just cant bring myself to post because i dont feel like its perfect enough
i mean i wrote this gintoki fic a few nights ago because i've been going through some really terrible stuff and ive been falling back onto fiction to ground me and help me cope
but idk if what i wrote is good, i just churned it out from some dark pit in my heart, tagged it and posted it. i feel like i have to provide a certain level of quality. like i act like my writing is groundbreaking and earth shattering by the way i carry myself but im stuck in this loop of perfectionism.
i mean i have my own original story im working on and i would love to post parts of it here but i know nobody would read it cuz its not fandom content.
but i want people to read my writing. i love to read so much i want people to find joy in reading my work, as much as i do others
