Fwhip has a picture in his inventory from when he once modified a spyglass to make a kaleidoscope, and was both entertained and concerned when Owen tried it for the first time. His pupils looked as wide as dinner plates, and Fwhip swears he was purring at some point.

When he finally took it out of Owen’s hands, Owen snapped out of it immediately with no memory of what had happened. Fwhip never told him.

It’s something that he treasures very deeply. Just a moment of him getting to see Owen genuinely curious about something he’d never see out in the jungle, and frankly, one of the cutest expressions he’s ever seen on a person.

So yeah..maybe he needs to figure out this little pining problem of his before it gets worse.

on the topic of Scott needing to smack Owen and Mog’s oblivious brains…

Scott has enlisted the help of Eloise to try and wingman the two of them, doing stuff like setting up hangouts in romantic settings and then mysteriously canceling last second to give the Mogjuice boys privacy.

except, all of their schemes fail in the goofiest ways possible. Owen got distracted on the way to that picnic, Mog fell off a cliff trying to give Owen flowers, etc.

Scott has to be in a nightmare at this point. He knew that Owen could get easily distracted, he’d seen the man run off to chase something mid conversation before, but seriously? With Mog right there, that’s not distracting enough when he doesn’t shut up about him when they hang out?

Eloise on the other hand is about to ditch Scott unless he pays up and gives her the diamonds she rightly deserves. Watching Mog fall off the cliff was funny but enough is enough when it comes to these bumbling idiots..

the Owen wolf headcannon is my new favourite thing actually so this isn’t really a headcannon it’s more of an excuse to give you fanart-

Owen has definitely missed out on important meetings and stuff because he isn’t used to having a schedule and mostly lives in the moment. If you were to go looking for him? You’d probably find him with some wolves.

actually I really like your idea of Owen having a really nice accent because he grew up in the jungle!

I imagine strangers or just people who don’t know about his past asking where his accent is from and him either being really vague or just looking them dead in the eyes and going “The Wilds.” Like it’s some sort of mysterious alternate world.

This is great, but smth I can’t get out of my head is,

“Why does your voice sound like that?”

“OLI! You can’t just ask people why they have an accent!”

Eloise is the one who helps Owen with his English by the way, he forgets words occasionally. When he does he usually just trails off and kinda grumbles in annoyance, everyone teases him because it’s funny.
