I've been neglecting tumblr and twitter so hard lately. But I have some mighty fine reasons for that (at least the tumblr bit). I do post more from my other blog, so if you're lookin' to follow me there, you can find me at crimsoncomradeposts.
Anywho, this week marks my last week at my current job; one I've held for the past two years with the most incredible people I could have ever asked to work alongside and for. Friday will be my last day, and to say that I'm sad.. Well, that just wouldn't even begin to cover my feelings. I'm excited to start something new (I'll be starting my new job on the 18th), but I'm also sad to leave my current boss. It's bittersweet I suppose. I'll be moving on to greener pastures with some pretty great memories.
I've also been doing a lot of traveling lately. I wish I could say that it's all been out of the country, fancy-pants traveling, but in reality it's just been road trip after road trip. But, hey, I like those too. Sometimes weekend trips are just as relaxing as overseas vacations. This past weekend I took a trip out to Centralia to explore the nearly abandoned town and its surroundings. Pretty soon I'll be venturing out to the abandoned section of Turnpike for some cool photo shoots. Oh, and I'll be traveling to Grantville, Georgia soon too to check out where they film The Walking Dead. Now that I think about it, the majority of my road trips have been for creepy and off the wall ventures. I regret nothing and I'll never apologize for my spontaneity. (If you're interested in the pics I took this weekend, here you go: http://crimsoncomradeposts.tumblr.com/post/66498637514)
I'm also attempting to book a trip to the Ukraine for a tour of Chernobyl but no one's brave enough to go with me. So until I'm able to cross that off of my bucket list, I'll have to keep my spooky adventures limited to the contiguous United States. I'll be sure to post photos when I do.
I guess aside from the traveling and tying up loose ends at my soon to be former job, I've been catching up on the 5 billion television shows that I have to DVR. The Walking Dead, Homeland, Sleepy Hollow, The Blacklist, Hostages, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Originals, Supernatural, The Goldbergs, The Middle, Sons of Anarchy, American Horror Story, The Vampire Diaries, Reign, Haven. Yep. All of those. I have many more to watch come January when new seasons of my other favorites come out.
But I digress.
So that's what I've been up to. Hopefully I won't be so scarce. We shall see.
