Coffee Shop Boy
Sweet aromatic roast warms the air
Destiny sits in the corner, alone it its chair
Feeling like some lead in a romantic movie
My mind concocts a game
Daydream runs through my body
Coffee shop boy
I sneak a peek
You look shy, intelligent, I'm sure
I shuffle a bit to the left,
A little sly, I know
Trying to squint at the name scribbled in ink
Some funky handwriting it has, I think
A terrible font to decipher, hard to see
Two shots of espresso, the same as me
Destiny must be having quite a laugh
At my cautious little act
I'll be coming in again, sharp at three
Hoping you're a regular, wishing you're free
