Save the Last Dance for Me. { +itsconnormonroe }
After months and months of preparation, stress, decisions, arguments, the day had finally come around, and the bride, the groom, the bridesmaids and the groomsmen were either a bundle of nerves or excitement. The gazebo was lit up with fairy lights and music filled the large tent-like structure, along with a warm, joy-filled atmosphere.
During the ceremony, Lori had been paired with a groomsman she didn't know, well, she was the only bridesmaid there who'd never met any of the groomsmen. But this was her friend's wedding, so she was willing to grin and bear it through the ceremony for her. However now that they were at the party afterwards, sat at the wedding party's table, she'd ended up sat next to another groomsman. He was tall, dark haired, and she couldn't deny that he looked particularly good all suited up like that, there was something about him, but she wasn't quite sure what. Even so, they'd never said so much of a word to each other.
All of the others were all talking to each other, and the bride and groom were sat at the end of the table, giddy expressions and wide smiles. The brunette smiled over at them, they were lucky, and she was oh so happy for them.
"I think today went well..."
She decided to try and strike up a conversation with the man next to her, rather than the pair of them sitting there in silence.
