Unwell | Jared & Genevieve
Jared yawned from his place on the sofa, running both his hands through his long hair before stretching his back out straight. There was nothing stranger to him than watching new, or old, Supernatural episodes alone, but with his wife in bed as sick as a dog, he didn't have much choice in the matter. His sighed as he glanced at the plethora of toys spread out around the living room floor, forcing himself to stand and start to clean up a little before a text came through his phone and got his attention. The text was from his wife upstairs, subtly hinting that she wanted him to hurry up and come upstairs. With that in mind, he tossed a few of the toys in their chest and carried his wine glass to the kitchen.
He stopped on his way to his bedroom, glancing in to check that his boys were both comfortable and asleep. He pushed Tom's too long brown hair away from his face and pressed a light kiss to his sons cheek, smiling across at Shep who was asleep on his stomach before he closed their bedroom door over. He yawned loudly when he got to his own bedroom, pulling his shirt over his head in preparation for sleep. He collapsed dramatically onto the bed beside his wife, sending the book she had on her lap flying onto the floor.
"Sorry." Jared mumbled into the pillow, knowing he should get up and pick the book up for her but not able to find the energy to move. He turned his head to look across at her, smiling at the feeling of her soft fingers in his hair. He pushed himself up onto his elbows, his eyes going directly to the bump in her stomach. "How are you feeling?" He asked with a creased brow, hating the fact that there was next to nothing he could do to help her feel better.

Jared: Just got a call that my dads taken a turn for the worse so mom and I are on our way to the airport baby.
Jared: The boys are with Danneel and Jensen, I'll text you as soon as I land.
Jared: I'm sorry I just have to go. I love you.

Dani: So something pretty huge has happened.
Dani: You're going to flip out.
You and Me | Gen and Jared
It had been a taxing 24 hours for the tired father of two, that was undeniable. His mother had arrived from out of town earlier than he'd anticipated, wanting to spend time with her grandsons before the new baby arrived and everything changed. Jared loved having his mother come to visit no matter where he was. He loved waking up late and coming downstairs to find his house completely spotless, his boys quietly sitting on the living room floor playing dinosaurs with the woman they didn't see nearly enough. This morning Jared hesitated when it came to getting out of bed, nervous about seeing Jensen after his admission the night before. He knew nothing would ever really come between their friendship, but it was going to be awkward looking him in the eye for the best part of the day. None of that mattered though, that's not what today was about.
Jared slipped out of bed and climbed into his ensuite, turning on the shower until the whole bathroom was beginning to fill with steam. He could hear Shep squealing excitedly from the floor below, a smile pulling at the corners of his mouth at the familiar sound. Jared washed his hair with Gen's shampoo, not wanting to admit that he preferred the sweet scent more than he preferred the smell of his own. He knew she'd notice, but he also she knew would love it. With a quiet sigh he got out of the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist as he started lying his casual suit out on the bed for him to change into. He smiled softly, taking a moment to appreciate how much things had changed.
Seven, almost eight, years ago he'd met the absolute love of his life. It had just been another day on the set for Jared, running lines with Jensen before he was warned that the new girl was heading over to meet him. Jared had not at all been expecting her to walk over in her underwear, quite literally her underwear. She had a pair of underwear covering her bottom half and a simple singlet hung from her chest; and that was it. She was confident, not at all aware of the effect she'd had on him. He started drying his hair as he kept playing back that first memory.
They'd flirted mercilessly, constantly touching and teasing one another at any chance they got. That was it. From that moment forward he'd never looked back. Now as he glanced around his bedroom he caught sight of her favorite perfume sitting on the bedside table, Shep's famous Moose toy just under her pillow and one of Tom's shirts sticking out of one of the drawers. They had some how gone from a young, flirty to couple to parents and those boring people who spend Friday nights making home made baby food. He wouldn't change any of it for the world though.
The separation he and Genevieve went through was necessary. Things got so bad between them toward the end that it was dangerous to keep it going with their kids around. Gen was drinking, Jared was working too much, and the second her mom got sick; it was game over. Jared knows they shouldn't have gotten a divorce. It was something they'd done in the heat of the moment when they were both fuming at one another. He was ready to fix that now, before the baby was born. They weren't going to make any sort of big deal about resigning a marriage license. They hadn't really told anyone except Danneel and Jensen, and that was perfectly okay.
Once he was dressed in his casual suit he pulled on a pair of dress shoes, dried his hair and was ready to go. He'd agreed not to see Gen until they arrived at the courthouse, and as ridiculous as it seemed, she wanted to do it so he complied with no complaints. Jared kissed his boys goodbye, gave his mom a quick hug and was out the door. After the debacle with Jensen the night before, he'd asked his best friend to just meet him there. He didn't want an awkward car ride to dampen how excited he really was about the whole day.
When he pulled up, the first thing he caught sight of was Genevieve. His heart started to race in his chest, his palms beginning to sweat the mere image of her in the short, sweet dress she was wearing. It was obviously not her old wedding dress but it had the same effect on him, a lump forming in his throat. Jared had cried through most of his wedding, and it didn't seem like today he would get away with dry eyes either. He slipped out of the car and made his way to wear she stood with Jensen and Danneel, not stopping to look at either of his friends as he placed both his hands on either side of Gen's face. His lips melted against hers, his racing heart slowing the second he felt the sweet comfort of her touch. His thumbs traced over her cheekbones, pure bliss pulsing through his veins.
"You look so beautiful, baby." He commented when he pulled back, resting his forehead against hers. He sighed quietly, wanting nothing more than to put her wedding ring back on her hand straight away. With that thought in mind, he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out the small box that contained her engagement ring. "I feel like you can probably have this back now." He chuckled as he placed a light kiss to her wrist.
Jared Padalecki was all about cliches. He loved all the cheesy crap that made other people groan in embarrassment, so with next to no hesitation he slid down onto one knee and popped open the box. He hadn't replaced her ring, so there was no shock when he opened the box and her large, familiar ring looked back up at her. He heard Danneel sniff from behind him, followed by a quiet chuckle that he could only assume was coming from Jensen who was doing his best not to tear up too. "I never stopped loving you. Not for one moment. Will you marry me? Again." Jared smirked as he pushed the small box in her direction. He was a lot calmer than the last time he'd done this, that was for sure.
"I hate you both." Danneel laughed from behind them and Jared could just imagine her eyes rolling as she tried to fight back tears. He wasn't the only one who loved a cliche.

Dani: If a guy says to you "I'm yours." And you say to him I'm yours....
Dani: Does that mean you're...together?
Dani: Uh asking for a friend
Text | Gen
Jared: So the bed is definitely too big without you in it.
Jared: I miss you.
Jared: It's been like three hours. How do I miss you?
Thirst | Jared, Gen and Danneel.
Danneel knew what she was getting into when she invited Jared and Genevieve over for a drink, especially when there were no children in the home. She knew because it had happened before on numerous accounts. They'd fallen into a comfortable routine, Danneel merely needing to shoot a text in Jared or Gen's direction suggesting they come over for a drink, and next thing she knew she was naked, screaming and begging all at once with her best friends wrapped around her. It should have been complicated, it should have been something they had to talk about and dissect but for some reason; they never had to. They were all on the same page. Gen and Jared were a couple, Danneel was the fun little plaything they welcomed into their sex life with little hesitation. Dani was more than okay with that.
Even though she knew that was exactly where tonight was headed, she still made the effort to put on a proper set of clothes rather than just some skimpy lingerie she hadn't worn yet. She pulled on a simple strapless black and white maxi dress, not bothering to put on shoes as she pulled her hair back into a messy mom bun on top of her head. Once she'd applied a thin layer of red lipstick she was heading back down the stairs with her cell phone in her hands. She text Gen to let her know she was ready for them to head over whenever they were ready, making her way into the kitchen to pop open a bottle of wine.
"Mmm." She smiled as she poured a glass of red wine, helping relax herself. Knowing fine well that if she didn't, she'd be skittish and over excited when they arrived. She pulled out a bar stool and pulled herself up, crossing one of her legs over the other before quickly calling the babysitter to make sure her little girl was okay. Danneel looked up at the sound of her front door closing, a smile breaking out on her lips at the sight of Jared walking toward her. She held a finger up, said goodnight to JJ and hung up the phone.
"Hey stranger." Danneel smiled as she pushed herself off the bar stool, crossing the floor to wrap her arms around his waist. His smelled exactly like she remembered, his warm arms enveloping her making every tense muscle in his body relax. Then she saw Gen, and butterflies fluttered through her stomach.
"Miss us?" Jared asked with a smirk, pulling back and playfully nudging the back of his friends leg. Danneel laughed, rolling her eyes as she moved to where Gen stood instead, standing behind her and nuzzling her face in her best friends neck while she looked up at Jared's wide eyes and slightly ajar mouth.
"I think you missed us, Jarpad." Danneel smirked as she let both of her hands move to rest on Gen's stomach, her fingertips moving against the belt buckle in the middle of her hips, not making a move to unbuckle it yet, just happy to see how easy it still was to tease Jared. Danneel couldn't help but laugh when Jared rolled his eyes and cleared his throat, moving to the other side of the kitchen counter to pour himself a glass of red wine.
