Cassie checked the jerk’s pulse and nodded. “He’ll be okay. Let’s get out of here. This is why I don’t go to clubs. The good ones wear suits, ones like these wear salmon skinny jeans. Ick.” She shook her head. “You can tell if they’re gross by what they wear. Even I don’t wear that color.”

The man groaned, shifting on the ground. “I think that’s our cue. Let’s go back to my place, have some wine, and watch a dumb movie with popcorn.”
