"Some Men"

I don't get why, whenever I make a statement about men's view of women/men's oppression of women/men's objectification of women/etc I get these responses like "not all men are like that". No where did I say all men are like that. If you hear me talking about men treating women badly assume I only mean the ones who do in fact treat women badly and if you respect women, then count yourself out of what I'm saying.
