Whilst some of y'all have already started to put up Christmas decorations, I finally found someone who'll let me have Halloween-y stuff up all year round because he loves it just as much~~ The cauldron was a birthday gift from my lovely cousin, some 18 years ago or so? The grey stone and blue rock contain the ashes of Gaara 🐱, and my grandmother respectfully. The skull bottle we bought at Flying Tiger, filled with white paraffin to coat the inside, emptied, scraped out pieces, refilled with red paraffin, then topped with a black paraffin candle (not actually for burning, we prefer non-paraffin for that). The little jack-o'-lantern came from a shitty battery operated LED string that I put on a different LED string (wallplug) that glows purple and orange! The glass tube is a thermometer (but sadly doesn't show anything higher than 28°C or something...), and the mead I bought based on the labels because as you can see, they're fucking awesome. I'm kind of excited for whenever I have kids and they go through their emo phases because they'll come stomping out of their rooms wearing black combat boots and a band t-shirt and when I ask them about it they'll go "ItS nOt A pHaSe Mom!" And I'll just say "Heck no it isn't you've just doomed yourself to loving emo bands till the day you die come on let's go to Hot Topic I'll buy you some band shirts if you'll buy me some and when we get back we can listen to emo music together and cry over My Chemical Romance"
