The concert venue was decently sized for a local band; the day was pleasantly cool which was perfect for the outside seating. As he walked with Brooke along the lawn to find a place to settle, Lyric slipped his hand into hers and flashed her a sweet smile. This was a date. This was definitely a date. After he and Brooke went to get coffee, he’d been texting her pretty much nonstop since then. He couldn’t help it, really; he liked her a hell of a lot. Hopefully he wasn’t annoying her by it. God, that would kill him-- He couldn’t remember the last time he’d been so self conscious and worried about what a girl thought of him. “I figured we’d stay towards the middle-- That way we’re not in or close to the pit, but we can still see the band.” He suggested, “Is-- Is that okay?”

Luka was physically excited. The moment he and Blair had step foot on the wooded path, there was a kind of bounce in his walk that hadn’t been there for a long time. A little deeper down the trail he led them off the path. Peeking over his shoulder, Luka flashed a reassuring smile before turning around and taking her hand in his. He pulled her into a small glade, the open area perched beside the small stream that ran through the trail. The space was dotted with wild flowers and greenery-- It carried an almost ethereal feeling. Everything was there already; a large blanket was spread across the grass and the basket of food they put together the night prior sat right in the middle. “I think I picked a pretty decent spot.” He hummed, a small grin spreading across his lips. “If-- If you like it, we can camp here too. Not tonight, but you know.”
