It almost seemed like a bad idea to put more on Seth, but who else was she going to talk to about it? She was sure Seth would be happy anyway about the way it all went, but maybe Seth’s place wasn’t the best bet. Not when she could bump into one of the other Talbot’s. Sat on the front step, she waited with phone in hand open to the texts that had started out with her bit if confidence and faded into nothing but hurt. When he finally did show, she was quiet at first-wordlessly holding out her phone for him to take. “Please tell me I did the right thing, because it really hurts right now,” Alecta admitted after a beat.
