I'd like to make all Canadians read "Policing Black Lives" by Robin Maynard. It is a good reminder that we are not all that good here, and that most of our perception of Canada is largely propaganda.

Since you like TES, have you tried dragon age? I'd also recommend baulders gate. It's pretty old by now, but other than graphics it holds up pretty well. Just be prepared to be a little lost most of the time.
id like to play dragon age at some point but i dont actually have an functional pc right now and just have my switch for games so i probably wont get to play it (and a lot of other games that ive an interest in) unless it gets ported 😔
like really if a game has a fantasy setting and customisable characters im probably going to want to play it
Are there any good political podcasts for Canadians? I'm especially looking for leftist political pods.

I want a game to determine willpower based solely on how long you throw yourself at a problem. One in a hundred chance to open this lock? Let me sit and mash x till it opens, just because I am that stubborn. Unless you are making your own game, then willpower would limit your retries. Also creativity needs to be a stat
Stubbornness sounds fun !! Honestly probably easier than creativity just because repeated attempts I can put on a loop with an array list of responses, whereas creativity would require me to be creative. can u imagine?
How do you feel about talking politics at work? It seems that not talking only benefits the conservatives. Being open, Frank, and non judgmental I have convinced at least 3 to abandon Doug, and seriously consider the NDP, just by providing facts. Doug's attack ads only work if we stay silent.
I would say that if you are comfortable talking about politics at work, that you should. Good job!
It might be difficult for some people if they have self confidence issues like social anxiety (which I have).

When we had our problem we bought harris bed bug killer off of Amazon. A tonne of it. Just sprayed everything down, and in between everything once a week for 6 weeks. Then slathered some last crawl down at key points. No kill like overkill.
My current plan is:
Kill everything we can reach with Raid and steam before they spray
Allow them to spray the apartment per the apartment’s guidelines
Incinerate my bedframe (infestation hub)
Lay diatomaceous earth all over the place for a week at a time
Continue steaming potential problem areas daily
Move to a place that doesn’t rely on Orkin ASAP
The sooner this is over, the better. I’m pretty much ready to cut my losses and start hiking across every continent with no belongings.

I love your tags on this. From a Solas romance, he does imply heavily that while he did indeed thurst for Lavellen, he...
It doesn’t even imply that he thirsts for Lavellan it’s people projecting this heightened sexuality onto him and accepting it as canon. People can grab-ass without wanting to stick their dick in it. People can kiss passionately and not end up in bed. From the very beginning though people have been reading and interpreting his actions as barely controlled sexuality and BAM now we’re here where people who DON’T read it like that have absolutely nothing to fucking consume as fans because EVERYTHING is sexual.

How do you feel about Philip K. Dick and William Gibson? Just out of curiosity. I love the mostly accurate judgement comming from this. (There is one guy on youtube who seems to honestly like some of the old books, English Phd I believe, Thug Notes)
They're both old white dudes. I've only read "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep," so I can't judge the works themselves. The fact that they're described as "philosophers" in addition to being novelists worries me, though. That's a universal red flag when dudes consider their favorite authors to be philosophers.
Don't know enough about them to say with certainty whether those flags should stay red, though
