Popular Winchester music showcase, Is This Thing On Productions is singing the New Year in at the Attic Bar on Saturday 11th January.
Hosting three musical hours of talent, ITTOP founder and compere, Nick Tann shall be performing his trademark melodic songs, as well new ones from his up and coming album that is currently being recorded at Zanzibar Studios in Winchester.
Making a welcome return to Winchester this month are three of the brightest stars on the British singer/songwriter scene. The Real Raj, Anna Neale and Alex Bowron.

Nick Tann, creator and compere of musical showcase, ‘Is This Thing On Productions’ has revealed the line up for the November show at the Attic Bar on Saturday 16th November.
After a five month hiatus, the November ITTOP showcase will be celebrating it’s comeback with a refreshing lineup, including Nick Tann himself. The long awaited event will also feature performances from talented musicians Tom Lowman; German songwriter and piano accordionist, Anja McCloskey who is making an exclusive appearance whilst on her brief UK trip; and Dan Whitehouse, a previous guest on BBC Radio 2 and 6.
Nick recently launched a funding campaign on his official website to record a new album http://nicktann.co.uk/new-album/, is ecstatic for the ITTOP comeback at the Attic Bar; “I am so pleased we are "back in the room" and I can't wait to get back on that wonderful stage!"

ITTOP will also be welcoming back the unforgettable Grant Sharkey.
Becoming known for his exciting 2013 music mission of releasing an album every six months for the next twenty years, Grant Sharkey will be performing his usual mixture of music and double bass humor and mayhem that has earned him the title “one of the most popular entertainers in the whole of England.”
Recommended tracks include: ‘Sorry to Hear You’re a Racist” that has been collecting much publicity and air-play of late.
Dropping in as part of their UK Tour, Nashville based duo Dirty Proper bring a taste of southern class to the south of England with their original take on what they describe as “The Southern Eurythmics”

Local legend, Mike Vaughan will also be making a special appearance for the ITTOP summer sendoff.

ITTOP’s creator and compère, Nick Tann will open the birthday extravaganza and will be introducing Winchester local, Matt Blake, Grant Sharkey and spellbinding acoustic rocker, Anna Neale.
Producer and originator of Is This Thing On Productions Nick Tann will be running things as per usual as well as playing two full sets of his original songs that includes “a few surprises”. Back from a successful date in Reykjavik Iceland last month Nick career as a singer songwriter is certainly on the up and up playing some of the choicest venues in the south. He is also looking forward to performing at Blissfields, Wickham and Ventnor Fringe Festivals later this year. “There are” he says “Many exciting things in the planning stage that are getting me very excited!”
Previous ITTOP Podcast star Matt Blake is treating ITTOP to a rare and exclusive appearance; normally his performances are a best-kept secret. Consisting of smokey vocals and legendary guitar skills that have been appreciated by audiences all over the south, Matt Blake is guaranteed to draw listeners in with, ‘Lifeguard’ and ‘Take Up Your Knife.’

Having previously performed at the ITTOP December show, Anna Neale started her professional life touring as a vocalist with Dublin soul band, ‘The Commitments’. Since then she has become a performer and songwriter in her own right, playing to an increasing number of fans through her live, TV and Radio performances. Anna has played around the world, across US, Canada, Europe and Asia, both as a solo artist and as a member of various bands.
Allow Anna to entice with intriguing numbers, ‘Hungry Ghosts’ and ‘Fire’.

In 2008, Gary released a CD called ‘The Best of Sniffing and Cursing’, a spoof punk/ska collection with homages to X-Ray Spex, John Cooper-Clarke and The Fall amongst others.
His collection of short but sharp songs and his funny spoken word pieces are guaranteed to keep the ITTOP audience on their toes.
Inspired by the legendary riffs of Jimi Hendrix, Steve Picken will be gracing the stage and treating ITTOP attendees. Having such a determined presence, not only on the acoustic guitar, but also on the Hampshire and Dorset music circuit.
Senorita, Maud the Moth will treat ITTOP to a mesmerizing set of theatrical, urgent and powerful vocals. Founded in 2010 in Madrid and announcing passion for “storytelling, sudokus and vodka,” Maud the Moth will definitely entice you in with her Robert Smith style of narration and piano tinkling: like a moth to a musical flame
Inspired by the country and rock sound, originally hailing from North Yorkshire, Steve Lowis has had a tremendous presence on the Southampton music scene. Known for forming the Lowis Lanes, that hit the music circuit in 2007, Steve Lowis has had further musical successes with EP ‘Happy/Sad’ released in 2006, with a follow up of a the debut album ‘Halfway Down the Road’ in 2009.
