087. How would your character describe themself in three words?
“Intelligent. Resourceful. Determined.”
17. Where would your character fall on a politeness/rudeness scale?
He’s pretty polite! He’s not the type to be outright malicious or rude, but rub him the wrong way and you might find an underlying layer of passive-aggression in his words.

“Well, you’re a bit of a mess, aren’t you?”
“But, not the worst I’ve seen by a long shot. You would do well to curb those little outbursts. Passable vibes, for now.”

“Sure thing,” she grins in return, putting her hands in her pockets. “I’ll look around, circle the block, and they’ll be none the wiser.”
Going on distraction detail is usually more Ivy’s thing, but Carmen can play the game just as well. Capers are always easier with a partner-in-crime.
And with the smile she’s getting from this guy? It seems like he’s just the type to enjoy causing some mayhem. Perfect.
“How will I know when you’re ready? Can you give me a signal or something?”

@itwasjustanapple.
catherine felt suffocated. it wasn’t the visions of the crumbling city that bothered her, or the ruins that blocked off some ways and made other ways more perilous to trek. it wasn’t even the crying and begging of some citizens and the obnoxious grunting and fighting of others. and though they were very dangerous and catherine would rather not get mixed up with them, even the monsters weren’t the root of the problem with her.
every time she passed a cross, or a figure in a traditional religious garment, the sickness in her stomach gained depth, and she kept feeling flashes of heat, like hives, pop up and away and up and away in different spots. snarling, she tried to scratch each one as she stuck close to the alleys of the city, trying to keep out of sight. the monsters were near, and if that wasn’t difficult enough, she couldn’t see some of them. if she didn’t hear a wooden plank snap behind her, she wouldn’t have teleported in time to get away unscathed earlier.
she was smart. selfish, but smart. she didn’t do much to help strangers, just occasionally throw something in the opposite direction to lead beasts astray, and only if she felt like it. why should she show courtesy to strangers if they wouldn’t do the same? later on down the street though, when a person was standing in front of her, she had no choice but to act. mostly because a monster was heading straight for them, and in turn her. she grasped the stranger’s shoulder and ducked into the side alley, squeezing them in far enough to where the too-large beast couldn’t fit. catherine huffed with impatience.
”this is so annoying...keep an ear out, would you? those things are so damn clumsy, you can probably hear them knocking over things if you’re careful.”
she was a bit tense because of the environment, but she wasn’t the type to apologize for that.

God... Just when he thinks he’s finally seen it all of this place, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Do the cities just grow on their own whim whenever it feels like it? --Shit, he must have too much time on his hands now if he’s actually considering a giant city to have it’s own thought process.
Note to self: Find a new client soon, ASAP.
How long has he been wondering this time? --More so, where has he wondered into? Guess it’s time to look up the local map again.. Maybe there’s a park somewhere to rest for the time being? At least a park bench is some-what cleaner than a street bench, right?
“...I should really start marking landmarks on here.”

“I suppose if I had to pick a scent, I would say it’s probably sea water. Always reminds me of home, even when I’m on a different planet entirely. Whether that’s always a good thing or not, well, I suppose that’s another story.
It’s the best I ken do as far as liking something goes, though.”
