ABYSS

Nietzsche said “ whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss gazes back into you.”

While I agree that the abyss gazes back at you

I think you are the abyss

Bottomless

Full to the brim

But so empty at times

You are the abyss

Your fears and worries bubble over from time to time

Your hopes

Your dreams

Your thoughts

They fill you

So when you gaze into the abyss

You are seeing yourself

Like you’re born anewg

You are the abyss
