Poetik Force’s last album, Mirrors was a reflective journey that gave listeners a generous dose of inspiration -- & I truly applaud Poetik Force for staying true to his passion in giving hip-hop a rock solid MC. The vibe in the air has been amazing in music this summer, and I’m excited that Poetik’s latest track, “Wavelords” is now in rotation all over the web. Everyday we’re fighting for success and it requires one to be a well rounded individual who is street + book smart, and a confident & determined visionary who can change the masses with a single idea. This track gives you that feeling like something good is going to happen in your life & I guarantee it is...if you truly believe in yourself.
Prior to the release, “Wavelords” was sent to me by Poetik Force and I listened to it everyday on repeat during my daily journey to DTLA’s jewelry district. Mornings when I didn’t feel so great about where my path was, or feeling stuck, totally uninspired, I was instantly lifted by Poetik Force’s words about his journey. Reminding me to go out there and GET IT, stand up for myself, to keep pushing despite ANY obstacle, and stay confident in how awesome I really am. I would walk through Union Station with a grin on my face knowing I was going to own the day.
& on the ride home, I was happy I did. That’s what defines success.
