PATIENCE is oft considered a virtue.
in a long line of vengeance guided tyrants, ganondorf supposes this honorable trait is one of the few that has played so crucial a part in their quest for power and justice. despite the ire that brewed within -- towards the royal line, towards the people of hyrule, towards the GODDESSES -- they’d known how to bide their time and strategically wait to strike.
there’s little use for it now, however, from where he’s been CAGED in the castle dungeons, but he’s trying NOT to feed the already harsh, albeit justified assumptions of him that they’ve, no doubt, begun to whisper and pass around the domain. a male gerudo poking around the castle just as the threat of CALAMITY begins to bubble? of course he’d been chained and hidden away immediately, left to a fate only the holy ones knew. ‘ he could easily bust out of here, ‘ he thinks, but that is where that patience is serving as a disadvantage ;; he’d rather sit and WAIT than cause unnecessary ruin, thus tarnishing his image even more. even IF he’s here with the intention to HELP rather than HARM, bursting free from his confines in a show of POWER shan’t benefit either party.
thus, he sits there, gazing upon the dank ground beneath him in silent contemplation. one of the knights would likely be journeying down to deliver the verdict of the court, or to provide him food and water--- IF they chose to even feed him, that is. time would tell...
