 “haniyas, for goodness’ sake, please slow down!” the poor boy screamed as he held on for dear life, sat atop a blue and black fenrir, a large wolfish beast who seemed to be suffering from a very severe case of... the zoomies. 

---and also barreling down toward the woman on the road, all the while emil tried his best to calm his beast down. finally---before the fenrir could collide with the other, she skidded to a sudden stop right in front of her, throwing emil off her over her head. he landed on his back in front of the stranger with a loud oof!

        without hesitation, the half-elf’s hand was already rummaging into his wingpack to check on his items. he wasn’t a healer, not like mithos or martel or kratos. hell, he sucked at healing artes. he’s only ever successfully healed someone with an arte, and that was because he was very desperate. every other time he’s only managed to poison people, despite the best efforts of the party. but what he did excel at? items. he was the item master in the group, always ready to offer a gel or a panacea at the right time. or steal from the enemy.

        ❛ first of all. shut up. second of all. you’re wasting time right now. if we had dealt with this sooner, it’d take less time to tend to it in the long run. dumbass. ❜ he dryly stated with agitation clear in his voice. despite his harsh words, the man’s hands were careful as they pulled the bloody fabric away from the wound as he inspected it more closely. with his free hand, he pulled out a lemon gel and without a word, started shoving towards the woman’s mouth. regardless if she actually ate it or not, he’d let go of it to start rummaging in his pack once more.

          ❛ the lemon gel will help stop the bleeding and some of the wound. lets wrap up your shoulder for now. we can deal with it more properly once we get into a town, since you’re being a stubborn ass. ❜ he states in a level tone, already going about pulling his bandage out. hands moved to attempt to work on wrapping the bandage over the wounded shoulder, not worrying about the fabric for now.

  “Y-yeah, here,” he offered his own canteen over, wishing he had more to give. An elixir, or even a fairy tonic. Anything to make up for being so late to the scene. He tried to respond to her humor with a smile, though the awkwardness of guilt weighed the corners of his mouth into a partial grimace. 

  Some part of him was grimly relieved that highway robbery was all they would do this time around. He’s known of worse. Looking down the road, he wagered their path was easy to track and he logged away into memory that her belongings would not be stolen for long.

  First thing first, Link held out his hand to her to ask, “Can you walk at all? Or even stand?”

            PATIENCE  is  oft  considered  a  virtue.

       in  a  long  line  of  vengeance  guided  tyrants,  ganondorf  supposes  this  honorable  trait  is  one  of  the  few  that  has  played  so  crucial  a  part  in  their  quest  for  power  and  justice.  despite  the  ire  that  brewed  within  --  towards  the  royal  line,  towards  the  people  of  hyrule,  towards  the  GODDESSES  --  they’d  known  how  to  bide  their  time  and  strategically  wait  to  strike.

          there’s  little  use  for  it  now,  however,  from  where  he’s  been  CAGED  in  the  castle  dungeons,  but  he’s  trying  NOT  to  feed  the  already  harsh,  albeit  justified  assumptions  of  him  that  they’ve,  no  doubt,  begun  to  whisper  and  pass  around  the  domain.  a  male  gerudo  poking  around  the  castle  just  as  the  threat  of  CALAMITY  begins  to  bubble?  of  course  he’d  been  chained  and  hidden  away  immediately,  left  to  a  fate  only  the  holy  ones  knew.  ‘  he  could  easily  bust  out  of  here,  ‘  he  thinks,  but  that  is  where  that  patience  is  serving  as  a  disadvantage  ;;  he’d  rather  sit  and  WAIT  than  cause  unnecessary  ruin,  thus  tarnishing  his  image  even  more.  even  IF  he’s  here  with  the  intention  to  HELP  rather  than  HARM,  bursting  free  from  his  confines  in  a  show  of  POWER  shan’t  benefit  either  party.

                          thus,  he  sits  there,  gazing  upon  the  dank  ground  beneath  him  in  silent  contemplation.  one  of  the  knights  would  likely  be  journeying  down  to  deliver  the  verdict  of  the  court,  or  to  provide  him  food  and  water---  IF  they  chose  to  even  feed  him,  that  is.  time  would  tell...

        the mother of angels is nothing if not kind, but there are limits to what she can extend toward the other. that is to say --- she will do all she can to maintain the safety of any of her angelic progeny ( in a manner of speaking ), even ensuring they remain in the hands of the enemy if it means they should survive. the child mustn’t know of lux’s doubts and intentions.

        “ monitor the journey, ensure that kratos doesn’t act rashly. ” zerena had done splendidly leading up to lux’s interception of the party. she’d joined the group with the claim that she’s merely an old friend of kratos’ --- which isn’t a lie --- and had yet to see the younger angel act out of line of their lords goals, but she couldn’t stress it enough. predictability would make her own job easier. “ it’s merely a reminder; you’re doing well so far. ”
