Iuengliss - Blank Matter
Iuengliss (apparently pronounced "eye-wen-gliss") is Denver based producer Tommy Metz, apparently inspired to begin creating music by the likes of Warp Records figureheads Aphex Twin and Autechre . Both are evident in the painstakingly micro-sculpted sounds of his new album Blank Matter, though Metz's approach is distinctly more upbeat than his influences would suggest. The album is available to download free from Plastic Sound Supply, where you can also stream the tracks with visuals by Metz himself.
