@iustitxa Harley was on her own. All by herself. She left Joker not long ago, but she was kind of low on cash, food, and overall confidence to do things on her own. What on Earth made Harley want to run off from the Joker? Well, a few things actually. Number one is that she was almost tied up to another bomb to distract Batman for him to make his grand escape, number two is that he sold Bud and Lou, and number three is that he wouldn't help clean around the hide out. So after another beating, she sulked, packed up her stuff, then left. Of course she left a note saying that she was sorry for leaving and that she still loved him and hoped him the best and that she'll come back soon, but other than that there was no trace. She stayed in a dingy motel for a while and thought of what to do. Who was gonna help her out? Most of her "friends" (which was only Ivy, Scarecrow, and Catwoman) were either in jail or Arkham, so she had no one else to go. The only sensible idea was to be a hench woman to another villain. And she had the perfect one in mind. Now, she was outside of Two Face's hideout. Deciding to work for Two-Face was actually just a random decision; if she had not just sat back and asked herself, “Who are some bad guys besides Red, Mistah J, Kitty, and Professer Crane?”, come up with Harvey, and decided to run with it, she would probably sneak back into Joker's place and hope he didn't notice she was gone. There were, of course, all the reasons she listed to him when trying to make herself sound like an appealing henchgirl. And it was true that, if this turned into a long-term arrangement, the fact that she'd already been wearing a split costume and likely wouldn't have to make many changes was nice, but that wasn't really why he had stood out to her amongst the other rogues. Harleen sighed and then knocked onto the door of the hideout of Two Face. She didn't know what was waiting for her on the other side.
