Ivah studies (A Practical Guide to Evil fanart)
Playing around with Ivah’idimas’iyanya’ajolig. And well… Drow in general (not your standard DnD variation for this world).
Almost no Night, Winter and Winter-Night Losara versions. Ivah has tried a few things by now.
I honestly have no idea how to draw the inhuman (uncanny valley) faces with non-human muscles described in the book. So, I just went with the also described sharp angled facial features and a generally androgynous look. Combined with really wide eyes, with slightly elongated pupils.
Drow skin seem to vary from light grey to dark grey and even pure black in Sve Noc’s case. Ivah is in the light end.
Ears: Seriously, there’s no descriptions at any point. Normally, I follow the principle, that if a non-human feature isn’t described, it probably means it looks mostly human.
Now, for elves, the one thing you pretty much always can be sure is mentioned in the Guide is their long pointy ears. The drows aren’t elves, though. And has no ear mentions. My best guess is they have human-looking ears, for those same reasons. Although, one could reason similar looking ears might be why people call drows dark elves on Calernia. It just seems weird it never gets a comment, then.
