(Actor AU) Till sighs as he puts the script down. "Hey, Ivan. This post Alien stage burndown scenes.... Don't you think they are a bit much? I can already see you crying after the shots with how emotional these scenes are, you were a mess after round 7."

In the midst of reading his own script, Ivan perks up when Till’s sigh fills the air, lifting his head to look at the older man.

Though, at the teasing remark, he noticeably deflates a bit with a sulking expression. “Ah— Hyung…” he whines softly in return, “It was really sad! And I wasn’t the only one that was emotional, nearly everyone else was too!”

While that was— partially— true, Ivan unfortunately was the only one who actually cried (cough, sobbed). It’s not his fault, okay? He’s just come to grow very fond of Till’s character in Alien Stage, and well, he’s become very fond of Till himself.

“Mm… but, I don’t think so,” The raven-haired boy replies with his own thoughts, his fluffy mop of unstyled hair flopping around as he shakes his head. “I think it fits well, along with the song and all the story behind the characters… There’s a lot of symbolism this time around, too. I think it’d turn out really beautiful…”

Rain pouring down and no where to go, Ivan ran towards the closest building in sight. Any building was free game in his opinion- but this one looked more like a hospital. Who knows on this nutjob planet anyway. His first week on this new planet wasn’t going as smoothly as he hoped- and with no clue how the environment worked, he feared rain was acidy here. So trespassing was better than chemical burns. Or potential chemical burns, since he didn’t know for sure. 

He slipped through the door and closed it behind him, leaning back against it as he panted from running. Ivan figured he had walked into a public space- but looking around the room he entered, he wasn’t so sure now. 

“Hello? Don’t be scared- if anyone’s home.” Ivan called, “Just wanted out of the rain.” Announcing yourself might not be the smartest idea, but he figured it was better than someone walking in on him and being scared of an intruder who didn’t introduce himself, right?

Tutoring

Ivan shifted the bag of books that hung heavily from his shoulder, it was full of Shakespeare, Homer, and various other ‘classical’ literature. He didn’t know much about the people he was hired to tutor, he’d just heard rumors that they were rather relentless. But he was asked for by name, and who was he to turn down a challenge. 

Ivan took a moment to check that he had the right place, before he reached out to ring the doorbell. It didn’t take long for the door to swing open. “Uh, hi? I’m Ivan Winship, I’m here to tutor the uh... Tremaine sisters?”

I think… I’ve fallen sick. I can barely breathe out of my nostrils and have been converted into a mouth breather due to the blockage of my sinuses 😞 a kiss from Till would heal me I think

"Ivan..." Till's voice was almost silent for once. He was holding the gloves he was going to wear in round 6. He looked tired, but worst of all, the lights in his eyes were gone.

"I know how this is going to end. .... But that- ..... I-.." He suddenly couldn't form the words he was trying to say.

For Ivan, Till’s voice is the one he’ll always focus on, no matter how noisy it is.

So between the raging voices fighting for dominance in his mind, it’s no surprise that the grey-haired boy’s voice cuts through his inner turmoil like a knife. Ivan turns around, facing Till with a softened expression. He looks so… tired. Ivan knows why he looks so exhausted like this.

“Till?” He asks lowly, eyes trained on his every move. “You…?” Ivan trailed off, waiting for the boy to continue.

"I'm sorry, what?" Till wasn't sure he heard that right, and now he was pretty sure college life was just rocking his shit right now, because WTF?! This has to be him feeling the effects of little sleep and the coffe addiction. "I...... I know we are dating and all but-...... Why that?"

Okay, okay.

Maybe Ivan’s request was a bit… Uh, not out of line, but kind of out of the blue? He didn’t think it was too bad of an ask, but Till’s reaction kind of contradicted that.

“Ah, come on, Till,” Ivan hugged the shorter boy close to his chest, almost as if he were trying to persuade him further. What’s the harm in it? All he wants to do is to switch their clothes, just for tonight.

Sure, they’ve only been dating (in secret, might he add) for about two and a half weeks, and this is the first night they’re spending together, but it isn’t that bad! Like, they’ve made out a few… many… several times so what’s all too bad about this? “I just wanna try on your clothes! And see you in mine; I think you’ll look so cute.”

Luckily, his roommate is out tonight, and bless the gods that he doesn’t dorm on campus, so they don’t have to worry about keeping quiet. “Come on, please? Just once?” Ivan pleaded, burying his face into the emo boy’s neck from behind. “Just think about it, baby.”

Till curses loudly as a string on his guitar snapped with a loud, sharp sound that filled the whole studio during practice, cutting his main two fingers. "Fucking hell!" He hissed and placed the guitar down on the floor against the wall before running to the sink in the hallway, washing the cuts clean under cold water. "Just great! We got a show next week and I still can't get that final song right." He hissed to himself as he felt the stinging of the cold water on his sore flesh.

He was too lost in his own annoyance to feel or hear the other walking up to him from behind.

“Till,” Ivan spoke from behind the boy hunched over the sink, nearly having to keep himself from letting out a huff of laughter when his bandmate jolts in surprise at the sound of his voice.

His amusement is quickly dampened as he notices the last of the crimson leaving the drain, then it shifts to the state of Till’s fingers held under the running water. His eyes wash over the fresh splits littered across his two fingers, accompanying the scars of other times he’d hurt himself while playing the guitar.

Still, it doesn’t stop him from saying— “again?”

“This is already the secondth time this month. And it’s only the second week of July.” Ivan pointed out, watching closely over Till’s shoulder. “Those splits from last week are still kind of fresh. Don’t you think you’re overdoing it a bit?”

See, Ivan’s the vocalist, and the only instrument that he has is his voice— so he doesn’t really get the finger splitting from guitars or like, tendinitis from drumming, and all that jazz. Sure, he can injure himself by using poor technique to sing, but…

Well, it’s different. At least, in his opinion.

The dark haired boy rested his chin on Till’s shoulder, which probably poked the boy a bit too sharply for it to be a cute gesture (he hadn’t meant it to be, anyway). “We have a whole week. That’s plenty time to perfect it. And your fingertips are probably cracking and splitting so much because you have like, dry hands. When’s the last time you used lotion?”

Ah, yes, the great wisdom he’d gotten from Reddit the last time Till had split his fingers (which again, last week.) was that you’re supposed to keep your hands moisturized, and that it isn’t as counterproductive as it seems!

No wonder Till’s calluses always scratch him when they brush hands.
