So that day at the Printer Sisters (and a Brother) had things going wrong left, right, and center, and I had to quit once, and by the time I got them to Three Lakes I didn't feel like playing the tour. Since then there's been one thing after another, some good, some bad, all tiring. I've almost got the vacation played out but it turned out I did not have all the bugs worked out of Three Lakes.

So you'll see that when you see it, and meanwhile, have some background pictures at Widespot, LGU, and Bigg City. No idea who that little downtownie girl is, but she sure can sing! The No-Tell Motel needs better age controls, though.

Based on the family friendships with the Newsons, Herb Goodie invites Ivan on a trip to Bigg City Park, and the outing comes back to the house with him. Matthew and Johann don't mind the prospect of making more friends their own age.

The kids mill around and do whatever, the house spruces up a bit more, eventually most of the homework gets done. A typical evening. There's always a lot going on here but it's not cohering into anything narratively. Perhaps as the household shrinks.

A quick trip downtown, to get them moved in. You remember that first house I had Edith Pilaf and her housemates move into in Bigg City? This is one of that block, painted battered yellow and converted to a rental. Ed arrives first, so the lot will be named after him, and rents the house, then Del shows up and they run out to Stoppen Gap for real clothes. They need to get jobs, so they struggle to express their bohemian style and still look professional. Ed's gonna have to get a haircut to get a job with the SCIA! And I'm happy to see Ivan Schmidt show up and demonstrate yet again that having just the refrigerator on the lot works.
